Mirfield Show Fun Dog Show - Classes and details for the Fun Dog Show or 2012 will be posted here once confirmed.

The Mirfield Show Fun Dog Show is relatively late addition to the show but has become one of the biggest competitions on showday and attracts dog owners from all across th Yorkshire. The event starts at 1am on Sunday 19th August 2012 in the dog ring and is due to finish at 4pm. There are usually around ten classes on the fun dog show schedule with rosettes for all winners, followed by and overall Best in Show Trophy.

All entry registrations are taken on the day and must be made no later than 12.45 at the side of the dog ring – and preferably sooner. It is on a first-come-first-served basis and there is no guarantee of entry if that class has already been fully subscribed in advance. Entry fee is £1 per class and free for all children under 16. There is no parking available for dog owners on the showground itself but there is parking across the road for all exhibitors at the cricket club. All dogs must be kept under control on a lead at all times.

Mirfield Family Agricultural Show is unique in the Yorkshire dog show calendar of events because as well as having a strong reputation, it encourages children to get involved to make it a fantastic family day out.
