The event starts at 9am on Sunday 19th August 2012 in the main ring and is due to finish at 12pm. There are usually around eight classes on the horse and pony schedule with rosettes for all winners, followed by and overall Best in Show Trophy.

There may be space available on show day for some of the classes, but there is no guarantee if that class has already been fully subscribed in advance. Entry fee is £4 per class before 12th August and £5 per class after and on showday. Entry for all children under 16 is free.

There is some limited vehicle parking available for horse boxes and trailers behind the trees on the showground itself, so the Mirfield Show team recommend that you arrive and book in early. Every registrations must be made in advance of the class starting, and all horses must be booked in on showday before 9am.

Mirfield Family Agricultural Show is unique in the Yorkshire horse and pony calendar of events because as well as having a strong agricultural and class heritage, it encourages children to get involved to make it a fantastic family day out.
