Rabbit Show Classes
Mirfield Family Agricultural Show′s rabbit show is a two star show (under British Rabbit Council - BRC rules) and has more classes than ever before – covering Fancy, Lops, Fur, Rex and pets - and attracts rabbit exhibitors from all around the country and pet rabbits from all across Yorkshire.
The rabbit marquee opens at 9.00am, with staging until 10.30am and judging from 11.00am. Once judging is completed the exhibits and winners will be made available for public viewing until 4pm, when prize money will be awarded. All animals can not be removed until after 5pm – and must be removed by 6pm.
Closing date for entries is 10pm on Monday 15th August 2011 - however pet entries can be entered up to 10.30am on show day. Temporary drop off area is available near the Rabbit tent, however all cars must be removed to the exhibitors car park by 10.30am.
Mirfield Family Agricultural Show is unique in the Yorkshire rabbit show calendar of events and is expertly run by the Huddersfield Fanciers society team. As well as having a strong agricultural and class heritage, it encourages children to get involved to make it a fantastic family day out. Come along and chat to our Rabbit experts who are more than willing to give advice on Rabbit husbandry, breeding and keeping.

Rabbit Show Information
1. Two Star Show (under BRC Rules) on Sunday 21st August at Mirfield Showground, Huddersfield Road (A644), Mirfield,WF149NE. 2. Temporary drop off area is available near the Rabbit tent, however all cars must be removed to the exhibitors car park by 10.30am. 3. Penning by 10.30am and judging at 11am (Judges to be confirmed). 4. Entry fee £2.50 block entry. 5. Prize money £1.50, £1.00, 50p Unstandardised £1.50 NPM Lucky Pen 25p (auto entered) £10 prize money. 6. BRC offers 116 cc’s & 18 BOB’s Dip’s & Rosette’s.
