Calling all new and previous advertisers - we start taking bookings from January for 2012. Mirfield Show is one of the best attended days out in Yorkshire and regularly attracts between 12,000 and 15,000 visitors each year, and many of these people come from right across the region, not just Mirfield. It is an ideal way to not just support the show, but to advertise your business or organisation to several thousands of people. So if you wish to advertise in the programme, book a ring side banner advert or place an advert on our showground big screen then please get in touch. Opportunities are limited so it is essential that all advertising is planned in early.
Programme Advertising
The programme is a great way to advertise to all the visitors that come to the show and every year 4,000 programmes are printed and distributed to the public. Mirfield Show knows how important that the programme should also be an informative and useful addition to the show, so as well as the adverts, a significant percentage is allocated to key show day information, such as field plan, events classes, competitions, attractions, plus schedules for the horse, dog, flower, vegetable, rabbit, domestic and egg shows. There are two advert sizes to choose from - either full or half page adverts - and as last year, despite rising costs, we have not passed any of these increases to you the advertiser. We felt that in these economically difficult times that we should support our supporters by holding the advert costs so you have the opportunity to get your message out when you most need to do so. The price for 2012 will be £40 for a half page advert and £80 for a full-page advert - the only thing we ask is that if you require any new creative or amends to existing creative that we pass on a £10 additional charge to pay for these - wavered if you supply your own advert artwork. Booking your advert is very simple. Just download and complete the Programme Advertisers Booking Form and return it to our Advertising Manager with details of your requirements. Allocation of all adverts is done on a first-come-first-served basis, and the final closing date for return of forms is May 31st - but it is often full before this date. In addition to your advert appearing in the programmes available before and on showday - in advance of the show, you will be posted your copy of the programme, along with posters showing your support for the show, plus complimentary guest tickets which will allow you free of charge entry on show day.
Big Screen Advertising
The ringside big screen was a new addition to Mirfield Show 2011 and will make a very welcome return for 2012. Visible from all across the ring and food area, visitors can see regular updates on what's coming up, results, plus live video streaming of events and attractions being held around the showground. Unfortunately this great facility comes at a cost, and therefore we are offering twelve advert slots at £120 each to help pay for this. These static adverts will be shown repeatedly throughout the day and visible to thousands of visitors. Booking your big screen advert is very simple. Just download and complete the Big Screen Advertisers Booking Form and return it to our Advertising Manager with details of your requirements. As above, allocation of all big screen adverts is done on a first-come-first-served basis, and the final closing date for return of forms is June 30th - but we expect this to be full before this date. In addition to your advert appearing ringside big screen - in advance of the show, you will be posted a free copy of the programme, along with posters showing your support for the show, plus complimentary guest tickets which will allow you free of charge entry on show day.
