GETTING THERE

The show is held at Mirfield Showground, alongside Huddersfield Road, near the centre of Mirfield. If using satellite navigation, we suggest using WF149NE for the showground and WF149PQ for the main car park. If travelling by motorway, we suggest using J25 of the M62 or J40 of the M1. For more information and a map, see our How To Find Us section.

ENTRANCE TO THE SHOWGROUND

The big change this year is that the main entrance has moved to the left hand side of the showground – and is accessible from the public footpaths on Huddersfield Road and Knowl Road. The previous entrance direct from Huddersfield Road is a vehicle entrance/exit for stalls and exhibitors only. The gate from Springfield Park and Parker Lane will remain as before.

SHOW PARKING

Due to the size, there is no public parking on the showground - however this year there will be organised public parking at Castle Hall School [WF149PQ] with a shuttle bus to take visitors to the main gate. We encourage everyone to use this, or to walk or use public transport where possible. There will also be space for disabled parking near the bus terminal.

The only parking allowed is for horse boxes and craft stall holders behind the trees, or one car per trade stall on the main field. Flower, Vegetable and Rabbit Exhibitors are allowed to temporarily drop off by the marquee before removing their vehicles. All exhibitors and other cars for members, judges, attractions and additional stall callscan park in Moorlands Cricket Club across the main road.

The gates open for stall holders and attractions at 7.30am and exhibitors are allowed entrance from 8.30am. No vehicles will be allowed onto the field after 10am.
